What “Impact on the Culture” ?

If Madonna was Doctor Frankenstein, this would be her monster.

Lady Gaga.

Excerpt from Wikipedia’s “Lady Gaga:”

Musically, Gaga is inspired by glam rockers such as David Bowie and Queen as well as pop singers such as Michael Jackson and Madonna. She is also inspired by fashion, which she claims is an essential component to her songwriting and performances. She is also very supportive of the gay community, crediting them for her early mainstream success.

Lady Gaga’s heart is made of stone. Her soft mannerisms in the following  BBC breakfast clip contrast with the terse, obscene answers she gives in other interviews. Stylish? She is the sort of sociopath that thinks pornography is art.

See:

and she writes her own songs…Really??

See “Beautiful Dirty Rich.” Please note: the video has been seen over 13.5 million times.

…Lady Gaga eats dollar bills.

What would Dante have said?

    Gaga but not Lady

While it’s true that the morally unsustainable type of capitalism that is in vogue today tends to muddle the right and wrongs of how to behave, ADULTS have a personal responsibility to cultivate that interior life that would help them see more clearly when acting publicly. That interior life has different dimensions: spiritual, artistic, humanitarian, intellectual, to name a few of the most important ones. Tending to any one of these is a step in the right direction towards being human.

What revolts me about Lady Gaga, is her clear WILL to be vile. The French have a word that applies to her perfectly : “s’avilir,” that is to say, to debase oneself.

What’s more, Lady Gaga clearly seems to want to spread this debasement to others, to have them join in, be inspired by “her” vision of things. The management of her public image is tailor-made for exactly this.

She is part of the problem and she loves it.

People like Robbie Williams, another instance of someone going all-out to win fame, as pathetic as he is, inspire more sympathy. He too seeks to buy the love that will give him self-acceptance but he does so in a more dignified way, read: human. Yes, Robbie Williams is dignified compared to Lady Gaga. How about that? There is no willful marriage to evil in him.

William’s narcissism drives him to seek approval through his own flavor of “excellence.” Lady Gaga’s excellence on the other hand is the excellence of a good prostitute.

Needless to say, both entertainers have a closeted-gay aura to them and need to see a good therapist.
